Neuralizers are devices used by the Men in Black to wipe a certain time period from memory. The back of the device has control knobs for days, months, and years. The front has an either red or blue eye, where the flash of the "Flashy Thing" is emitted.

The Neuralizers effects can be reversed using the De-Neuralizer. This was used on Agent K during the second movie.
To prevent a neuralizer from erasing their own memory, an agent must wear their sunglasses before using it.
